I am a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor. With more than 40 years driving experience, I am passionate about road safety and the development of Safe Driving Skills for Life. I have significant experience coaching professional drivers in defensive driving skills, making a significant contribution to the reduction of collisions and associated injuries and costs. I am proud now to be in position to develop new drivers as a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor. I will work with you to help you become the best and safest driver you can possibly be.

I offer both manual and automatic driving lessons. My automatic vehicle is adapted to enable teaching for individuals with a variety of physical disabilities. The adaptations include:

• Right hand operated, push pull throttle and brake control

• Lodgesons 13 way electronic controller

• Lollipop handgrip and steering balls

• Twin flip left foot accelerator

I also have extensive experience teaching individuals who live with cognitive issues, including people on the autistic spectrum or who are recovering from traumatic brain injury/other illnesses and those who live with stress and anxiety.  Training courses and metohds will be specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of every client, with the emphasis placed on finding ways in which we can achieve success.

I work closely with Cornwall Mobility Centre, through whom full, formal, fitness to drive assessments can be arranged and support provided, whatever your disability or need, if I cannot provide it directly.
